The Headquarters, Coast Guard Region( East) is located at Chennai. The entire coastline from Kanyakumari to Kolkata comes under the jurisdiction of the Commander, Coast Guard Region (East). There are 04 Coast Guard District Headquarters, 04 Coast Guard Stations, one Air Station and one Air Enclave on the eastern seaboard of India. | |

A lecture on flight safety was delivered by Shri Ashok Shrivastava, GM, Airport Authority of India. Fire exercise along with Airport Authority of India was conducted at CGAS(CH) on 09 &10 Nov 11as a part of flight safety. Flight safety Inspection of CGAS (CH) was carried out by AIRCATS, Goa on 14 & 15 Nov 11. | |
